As we began 2018 as a three-year-old RV Inspection company, little did we know what the year would bring. We were able to assist 48 potential buyers of RVs that were in 7 different states in 2018. We are truly grateful that we could assist all these folks this year.
Some of those buyers did not purchase the RV we inspected for them which means that we did our job. We revealed what we found during the inspection and it enabled them to make an educated buying decision.
Last month, we received a message from our Inspector’s Association, looking for inspectors to perform RV inspections for hurricane victims in the Wilmington, NC area. We knew it would be a great opportunity to assist those folks that lost everything they had during the hurricane. We said we could be in NC in a few days and we left 2 days later.
We left Florida not knowing how long we would be gone. We knew that we could be gone up to a month so that meant we would not be spending Thanksgiving with our family. Now it appears we will be here until sometime in January, hence missing Xmas with our family as well.
Has our stay in NC been worth it? Yes, it has and continues to be worth it. Even though we won’t be spending the holidays with our family, these people in NC have lost so much that we are glad/happy we can help them get back to some normal level of living as they rebuild their homes and get on with their lives..
We hope you can spend time with your family during the holidays and be safe in your travels. Hopefully our paths will cross in 2019.
